Mobility Awards honor the best mobile computing and wireless communications products and services as selected by 61 press and analysts. Apple products and services win in 13 categories.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – INTERNATIONAL CES – Jan. 9, 2013 – MobileTrax, LLC, a leading mobile and wireless industry analyst firm, announced today the winners of the 2013 Mobility Awards at a banquet held at the Bellagio Hotel during the 2013 International CES® trade show in Las Vegas.  The 2013 Mobility Awards were selected by 61 industry-leading press and analysts who cover the mobile and wireless market.  The Mobility Awards recognize the best mobile computing and wireless data communications products and services introduced to the market during the past year.

Apple products and services won 2013 Mobility Awards in 13 total categories.  Google products and services won in five categories. bSafe took the Rookie of the Year Award, and the Samsung Galaxy S® III was selected as Product of the Year.  Softbank’s purchase of 70 percent of Sprint took the top position in the M&A Transaction category.

This is the first year we had the Mobility Awards banquet at CES, and the response was fantastic. We had over 325 press request a registration for the banquet – far more than the space we had available. We plan to have the Mobility Awards banquet in a large ballroom in January 2014 to accommodate all the qualified press who would like to attend this annual gala event.
